Nutrition, Saving You From Gum Disease
Sugar is the most common that affects oral health. But there are also other nutritional factors other than sugar that affects oral health such as eating and drinking, the frequency of drinking of beverages with low acidity and the exposure to fluoride and eating disorder.When nutritious food is not adequately supplied to the body, oral health may be compromised by nutrition deficiency diseases. Food and nutrition does not only affects cavities but it also one major factor in the development of periodontal or gum diseases.
One way of being prevented from gum disease is to ensure that the body is adequately supplied with the right kind of food, nutrition- rich and vitamin- rich food combined with proper oral hygiene and avoiding bad habits such as smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Don't let gum disease bring harm harm to your dental and overall health, prevent it at its early stage.
